Liang Jinshang was one of only two people in the room who didn’t look at Shang Yucheng; the other was Zhao Xinghe—the so-called “young grass.” She started a dice game with Zhao Xinghe, turning her back to Shang Yucheng.

Someone once told her, if you want to seduce someone, show him only your back. Let another man try to get you drunk, then wait for your target on his only way out.

Liang Jinshang lost at dice, picked up her glass to drink, but Zhao Xinghe hurried to stop her. “I can hear you have a cold, don’t drink, have some juice instead!”

She replied softly, “It’s fine, I’m not on antibiotics.”

Still, Zhao Xinghe tried to dissuade her.

She quietly raised her eyes. “Wasn’t it your idea to play dice, with the loser drinking?”

In her clear gaze, Zhao Xinghe suddenly wondered if his tried-and-true flirting techniques weren’t a bit too low.

Helpless, he could only watch her drain her glass, then resolve to let her win every round after.

Strangely enough, Liang Jinshang always managed to roll just a little less than him.

If she didn’t look so innocent and pure, Zhao Xinghe would have suspected… maybe this girl was actually a seasoned regular in nightlife.

When she felt herself a little tipsy—just enough—Liang Jinshang stopped drinking. If she got truly drunk, how could she tease a man?

She got up to go to the restroom, feigning a heavier drunkenness than she felt. As she passed Shang Yucheng, she let her body sway and landed right in his lap.

Zhao Xinghe rushed over to steady her, but Liang Jinshang shook him off. “Don’t help me… you’re just a little brother!”

Zhao Xinghe was speechless.

She staggered up from Shang Yucheng, her fingers grazing his lips more than once as if by accident.

Zhao Xinghe’s expression changed, but Shang Yucheng’s remained cool, showing no reaction at all.

Liang Jinshang went to the restroom. After tidying herself up in the mirror, she lingered by the sink. This was a peculiar place, so often tempting men and women to do things they wouldn’t elsewhere.

She listened to couples coming and going behind her, until one pair, tangled together, lingered too long.

With the wet, suggestive sounds behind her, Liang Jinshang didn’t shy away—instead, she stepped out from behind a potted plant and watched the two embrace.

Her stare made them uncomfortable at last, and they separated.

The man wiped his mouth and scowled, “What are you looking at? Want to try it yourself?”

The woman, recognizing Liang Jinshang, grew jealous and angry, punching the man’s arm.

Liang Jinshang nodded. “I do.”

The man was taken aback. “Is there a catch… beautiful, do you have any conditions?”

She pointed behind him. “Could you two finish up and leave this place for us?”

Shang Yucheng was standing there, a cigarette halfway burned between his fingers—composed, yet impossible to ignore.

Only then did the couple realize she’d been waiting for this man—to do what they’d just been doing.

“Shameless!” the woman spat, rolling her eyes before dragging her man away.

Liang Jinshang took the insult with composure, but watching Shang Yucheng smoke with that impassive face, she couldn’t help but feel her cheeks grow hot.

This man was just too sexy, even when expressionless and smoking.

Shang Yucheng walked right past her to wash his hands.

She sidled up to his sink, sliding closer, intertwining their fingers and rubbing together as they washed.

Foam squeezed between their fingers, her nails lightly scratching his palm.

Shang Yucheng ignored her suggestive gestures, tossed the towel aside, and started to leave.

“Mr. Shang…” Liang Jinshang followed him step for step, even as he walked into the men’s room.

Shang Yucheng finally turned to look at her. “Are you really this desperate?”

Liang Jinshang blinked. “Desperate for what?”
