Shen Jin’an had indeed been going through a rough patch recently; her little one had inexplicably fallen into an emo phase.

Gu Lili, who usually brightened up and excitedly wiggled her little feet at the smell of food, now resembled a wilted little cabbage, sighing intermittently with none of her usual vitality.

“Lili, are you feeling down? Your little mouth is all pouty.”

“What does ‘pouty’ mean?”

Before Shen Jin’an could answer, Gu Lili sighed again, “If I don’t even know what ‘pouty’ means, then I’m really a dummy.”

Shen Jin’an was utterly baffled. With her child’s intelligence, it was already something to be proud of—how could she suddenly feel so insecure?

“Lili, you’re smarter than many kids. When I was your age, I only knew how to play with mud. Why do you feel this way? Is something bothering you?”

Gu Lili stubbornly turned away, leaving behind a melancholic, round little back of her head. “I’m fine. I can handle it myself.”

But a few minutes later, the stubborn little one timidly shuffled back to Shen Jin’an. “Am I really not dumb?”

“Why would you think you’re dumb, Lili?”

“I’ve been getting all my problems wrong these past few days.”

Shen Jin’an was even more puzzled. “Wait, haven’t you been with me these past few days? Where did you find time to do problems?”

The little one froze, then suddenly covered her mouth with her hand, her big eyes flickering with panic—she never expected to be caught so easily.

Under Shen Jin’an’s righteous gaze, the culprit Gu Lili finally confessed, “Only during naps and bedtime, I do a little bit, but just a little, and it definitely doesn’t affect my sleep.”

In truth, it did affect her. The problems she did these days were either all wrong or too difficult. The competitive little Gu Lili had tossed and turned in bed multiple nights, hitting her pillow in frustration, even stubbornly getting up to try again, only to sulk back under the covers.

Shen Jin’an knew Gu Lili was an ambitious little dumpling, but she never imagined it would be to this extent.

She had planned to let the little one relax these days and, at the same time, complete the system’s assigned task to prevent the little antagonist from studying. So she found many excuses to play with Gu Lili, who was quite happy to join.

But she was studying behind Shen Jin’an’s back!

In just seconds, Shen Jin’an deeply reflected on herself. She really couldn’t project her own childhood onto Gu Lili—after all, she had been a total slacker back then.

“Sorry, Lili, I didn’t think this through. But you have to know, the stuff you’re learning now is meant for kids eleven or twelve years old, and you’re not even three yet. So, whatever you don’t understand, I’ll teach you.”

After all, she had once been a top student admitted to a prestigious university; teaching elementary knowledge should be no problem.

“Really?”

Gu Lili’s eyes lit up, and she immediately slid off her chair and scampered to her room.

A few minutes later, Shen Jin’an stared thoughtfully at a collection of national elementary math competition problems in her hands.

Damn it, why are elementary competition problems so difficult nowadays?

Wait, a few days ago, Gu Lili was still working on the “chicken and rabbit in the same cage” problem. How did she advance so quickly to this level!?

Shen Jin’an tried to struggle, “I remember you weren’t using this workbook a few days ago.”

“I finished that one already.”

Shen Jin’an wiped an imaginary sweat from her brow, once again shocked by Gu Lili’s relentless competition.

“I don’t understand these problems either. How about I find another teacher for you?”

Gu Lili didn’t reply, but his expression clearly showed resistance.

Apparently, the previous unscrupulous teacher had left a psychological shadow on the little one.

Shen Jin’an solemnly promised, “That teacher was bad. This time, I’ll find you an excellent teacher. I’ll be by your side during lessons, so you’ll never be bullied again.”

After all, at her current level, she really couldn’t teach the child herself.

This useless parent silently wept in her heart.

The little one pursed her lips, looking serious as if making a momentous decision. After a while, she nodded, “Okay then, I trust you.”

Gu Lili turned on the TV and instinctively switched to the financial channel, but glanced back at Shen Jin’an and switched to the children’s channel playing “Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf.”

Seeing all this, Shen Jin’an thought: You’re really going out of your way for me.

Although she promised Gu Lili, Shen Jin’an truly had no idea where to find a competent, responsible good teacher.

She was new here and unfamiliar with the area; the original owner had no reliable friends.

Gu Yichao was still handling work left over during his coma; she felt embarrassed to trouble him with such a small matter. Besides, the teachers he found weren’t exactly reliable either.

After much thought, Shen Jin’an suddenly thought of a brilliant idea—the community homeowners’ group chat.

All the residents were wealthy or influential, and many parents must value their children’s education. Perhaps someone in the group could recommend a good teacher.

“Excuse me, does anyone in the community hire private tutors for their kids? I want to find a teacher for my two-year-old.”

The homeowners’ group chat was usually lively. Not long after the message was sent, someone replied with a question mark.

“No way, is the competition really starting for two-year-olds now?”

“That’s because my kid asked for it.”

“What kind of prodigy kid is this? My rebellious elementary school son is out playing in the mud and hasn’t come back to do homework yet.”

Just as everyone was about to launch into a heated discussion about child education, a message suddenly silenced the lively chat.

“Wait, haven’t you noticed this parent’s nickname in the group?”

Shen Jin’an glanced at her own nickname—the villa number—and saw nothing unusual.

Just then, the group started sending kneeling emojis.

“She’s a top-tier resident in Zone One.”

“I’m truly amazed. I’m actually chatting with a top billionaire!”

“I’m a kindergarten teacher; I can tutor your kid.”

Only now did Shen Jin’an realize that although the whole villa district was full of wealthy people, there were tiers. The zone she lived in had only seven standalone villas.

“Sorry, but my kid wants a math tutor at the level of elementary competitions or above. And if possible, I’d like to know about tutors for other subjects too.”

The group fell silent again for a moment.

“Huh, I thought the boss said her kid was only two? Is this the gap between me and a top billionaire?”

“I’m shedding tears of envy again, already on my way to drag my rebellious kid home.”

“I know a pretty good teacher. If you want, I can recommend them.”

Shen Jin’an quickly added this parent as a friend. Just as she received the acceptance notification, the system exclaimed in her mind:

“Hey, isn’t this the little male lead’s mother’s WeChat?”
