Announcement: Shocking News! The Unmotivated Author Who Has Surpassed the Limits of Humanity Actually...
Recently, it seems that the authorities are cracking down hard—even some top authors have been affected. In the previous chapters, I may have taken some risks by including themes like women’s emancipation and singing the Internationale, not to mention the somewhat unharmonious protest scene.
Upon reflection, the original purpose of the women’s movement subplot was simply to prevent the protagonist from having to compete naked—but the plot felt forced. So, I’ve decided to remove that thread altogether. Therefore, as a salted-fish author who dares to break human limits, I am now activating my destiny skill: World Line Modification. I am deleting Chapter 58: “Liberating Greek Women,” Chapter 59: “The Opening Ceremony,” and Chapter 61: “The Women’s Movement.”
With these changes, the original Chapter 60: “Bathing,” and Chapter 62: “A Good Start,” become Chapters 58 and 59, respectively, with their content largely unchanged. Compared to before, the storyline about liberating women is gone, and the wise men of Greece will remain in Athens, no longer traveling to Olympia. With three chapters trimmed, the narrative flows much more smoothly. By the way, during the Olympic competitions, should the protagonist wear underwear or not?
Your indecisive, salted-fish author is in a bit of a muddle… If you prefer seeing him in underwear, or not, feel free to suggest it in the comments for this chapter. I can always revise it again. As long as you all enjoy it, I’m sure the protagonist wouldn’t mind making a small sacrifice… right?
As for the previously promised bonus chapters, since the book has left the new release period and didn’t make the rankings, there won’t be an extra update for now. Still, the book’s performance is decent so far, and your author is brimming with motivation, so there’s no need to worry about future updates.
I’ve been busy revising today, so there won’t be a 6 p.m. chapter. Instead, I’ll update at midnight. For the next three days this week, I’ll add two extra chapters as compensation. That’s the plan. Sometimes, as a salted-fish author who dares to break human limits, I become a bit like Aqua when plotting the story. If you have any suggestions, leave them in the comments or reviews. Even though I’m a bit of an idiot, if you think something isn’t working, I’ll do my best to change it right away. That’s all—meow.
