Chapter Twenty-Six: My Name Is Mo Xiaoxiao, Not Mo Kuang
Xiao Zhang forced a bitter smile as he looked at Mo Kuang, whose expression could devour him whole. “Mo Kuang, what are you doing here?”
Mo Xiaoxiao replied coldly, “How did you know I was here? Did you investigate me on purpose? Also, my name isn’t Mo Kuang—it's Mo Xiaoxiao!”
“If I told you I entered the wrong room, would you believe me?” Xiao Zhang felt utterly incapable of explaining to Mo Xiaoxiao the strange circumstances surrounding himself, especially since his situation differed from that of these awakened ones.
Outside the door, Zhao Bai was worried for Xiao Zhang. After all, Mo Xiaoxiao’s reputation for ferocity at school was well-known among young and old alike. In fact, Zhao Bai was also curious how Mo Xiaoxiao and Li Shiwan had ever become close friends.
“Bai Bai, you really don’t need to worry,” Li Shiwan tugged at Zhao Bai’s sleeve. “Actually, Xiaoxiao is a good person—she’s not as violent as the rumors say!”
“Uh…” Zhao Bai was speechless. Big sister, isn’t that exactly what someone guilty would say?
Inside the room, Mo Xiaoxiao, who seemed to have produced a rope from thin air, spoke bluntly, “Will you come willingly, or do I have to beat you up?”
Xiao Zhang was thoroughly bewildered. “Big sister, what are you doing?”
“Your hands!” Mo Xiaoxiao didn’t waste words and tied up Xiao Zhang’s hands.
“Speak—confess your crimes, every last detail!” Mo Xiaoxiao brandished a dagger she had somehow drawn from the system’s inventory.
Looking at her performance, Xiao Zhang couldn’t help but laugh. Where had she learned all this? “What crimes? And besides, do you really think you could tie someone up this way?”
As he spoke, Xiao Zhang twisted his wrist and easily slipped out of the rope. “Come, let me teach you! Here’s how you properly bind a captive!”
Mo Xiaoxiao was stunned and, without thinking, asked, “How should I tie them?”
“Here, give me your hands.” Xiao Zhang tied a knot around her wrists. “Put your hands on your head. Done!”
By the time Mo Xiaoxiao realized what had happened, she was tightly bound by Xiao Zhang. “Xiao Zhang, you—”
With a gentle push, Xiao Zhang sent Mo Xiaoxiao tumbling onto the bed, unable to move. “What about me? Tell me, what crime have I committed?”
“Let me go, or I’ll fight you with everything I have!”
“Come on, you tricked me into calling you Mo Kuang in the dungeon, then tried to tie me up as soon as we got out—fine, whatever. I even kindly showed you the proper way to bind a captive, and you still want to fight me!” Xiao Zhang picked up the little dagger, waving it in his hand. “Hey, isn’t this the one I gave you?”
“What are you doing?” Bound and unable to move, Mo Xiaoxiao was honestly a little alarmed, remembering Xiao Zhang had hammered her more than once inside the dungeon.

“Hey, look at you all flustered—I was just teasing!” Xiao Zhang untied the rope in one swift motion. “Why are you so angry?”
“The dungeon rewards are yours, but could you give me some of the materials?” Once freed, Mo Xiaoxiao’s attitude softened considerably. “Those materials are really important to me.”
“Materials?” Xiao Zhang suddenly remembered—his system seemed to have finished updating.
In his field of vision, the updated system interface appeared—semi-transparent, with many new features.
Notification: You have completed the dungeon ‘Pit Altar’. Dungeon rewards received: Spirit fragments of the Six Prisoners, system points *30, redeemable for system purchases.
Notification: Hidden dungeon ‘Pit Altar’ completed. Dungeon rewards received… Skeleton King’s bones *1, Prisoner’s Mark *1, points *3901, and a skill book: Skeleton Summoning (Note: Skeleton Summoning is only usable by necromancers), as well as a pile of miscellaneous potions.
Notification: As player completed the first kill in the hidden dungeon, you have earned the Prisoner’s Approval.
Hmm? Prisoner’s Approval? What does that even mean?
…
All the notifications had appeared.
Xiao Zhang looked at the system prompts, but his heart was still uneasy. The rewards were generous, but he couldn’t use most of them, which was frustrating.
As for the points, that cheered him up a little—but where was his redemption system?
Never mind, the system promised to resolve the issue later, so better to save the points for now—they might be useful in the future.
All things considered, the greatest benefit was the system granting him over ten thousand enhancement points, though he had no idea what had prompted it.
Among the loot, there was also a strengthening potion: boosts personal attributes—after consumption, all stats rise to B-rank. The potion can only be used once, repeated use has no effect.
Clearly, for Xiao Zhang, the potion was useless, since he already had so many enhancement points.
He immediately opened his personal stats and found they had changed a bit, but he didn’t care and simply maxed them all out.
Once everything was at MAX,
After the enhancements, Xiao Zhang didn’t feel any odd physical reactions. Trying out his knife, he made a small cut on his arm—the wound disappeared instantly.

“This is actually pretty interesting.” Xiao Zhang stroked his chin and gave Mo Xiaoxiao a smile. “My physical strength was already outrageous before—now, I guess I’m pretty much invincible!”
Xiao Zhang had no intention of using the enhancement potion himself; instead, he planned to give it to Mo Xiaoxiao. She seemed to be a healer.
As for the materials, Xiao Zhang intended to hand them all over to Mo Xiaoxiao—his broken system was missing too many things, and he had no use for them anyway.
With that, Mo Xiaoxiao snatched the dagger from Xiao Zhang’s hand. “If you don’t want to give them to me, just say so! What’s all this?”
“No, no—I’m giving you everything.” Xiao Zhang quickly pulled out his entire stash from his backpack and dumped it all in front of Mo Xiaoxiao.
But to his surprise, most of the materials turned out to be skeleton frames, almost filling the entire room.
“Ah!” Mo Xiaoxiao shrieked and shrank into the corner.
“Holy crap!” Xiao Zhang was startled and hurriedly stopped, though a mound of skeletons still nearly filled the room.
“What’s going on? What happened?” Zhao Bai and Li Shiwan were startled by Mo Xiaoxiao’s scream outside.
“It’s nothing, nothing!” Xiao Zhang quickly called out, and gestured for Mo Xiaoxiao to keep quiet.
“Really nothing?” Zhao Bai called again.
While tidying up the system inventory, Xiao Zhang replied, “It’s fine, it’s fine—just bonding with Mo Mo!”
Hearing this, Zhao Bai muttered to himself, Damn, this guy moves fast!
Li Shiwan, hearing the exchange, pulled Zhao Bai along. “Bai Bai, let’s go take a look.”
Seeing Xiao Zhang’s mischievous grin, Mo Xiaoxiao’s temper flared, and she delivered a flying kick.
With a bang, Xiao Zhang was sent flying out the door, door and all.
