“Don’t even think about it, neither of you will take my sausage!” Even though one hand was pinned down by Sooyoung, and the other was locked in a struggle with Zhe Chen over the sausage, leaving her clearly at a disadvantage, Yoona had no intention of letting go. Instead, she fought even harder, trying to battle both opponents at once.

“Stop struggling! Hand over the sausage and we might spare your life!” With fellow foodie Zhe Chen backing her up, Sooyoung was now full of confidence. Her tone grew more arrogant as she spoke to Yoona, and she shot a knowing glance at Zhe Chen.

“Yoona, I suggest you surrender and give up the sausage. Otherwise, I’ll have to use force!” Noticing Sooyoung’s signal, Zhe Chen quickly grasped her intent and followed her lead, threatening Yoona in hopes of forcing her to relinquish the sausage.

“How could you treat me like this, Zhe Chen? I’m your older sister, just like Sooyoung!” Realizing she could never win against the two of them, Yoona immediately put on a pitiful expression, looking at Zhe Chen in hopes of appealing to his emotions.

“Well then, Yoona, as my big sister, shouldn’t you let your little brother have the sausage?” Yoona’s attempt at emotional manipulation had no effect on Zhe Chen, who was well accustomed to sparring with his scheming real sister. Instead, he seized the opportunity to turn the topic to siblings letting each other have things.

“No way! Anything else, maybe, but snacks—never. And that goes for any other food, too!” Hearing Zhe Chen’s words, Yoona raised her eyebrows and rejected him without hesitation, declaring her guiding principle: nothing must be wasted when it comes to good food.

“So there’s nothing left to discuss. Zhe Chen, let’s do this!” After Yoona stated her creed, Sooyoung understood that negotiations were out of the question. She had anticipated this outcome, so she reached out her free hand to grab the top of the sausage, signaling to Zhe Chen to start the fight.

The trio of food lovers each pulled in different directions, clearly intent on settling the matter once and for all and claiming their share of the sausage.

Accompanied by the sounds of bodies hitting the floor, all three ended up sitting on the ground. The sausage they’d fought over was now nothing more than a heap of meat bits, scattered across their hands and the floor.

“It’s all your fault! If you hadn’t tried to take it from me, this wouldn’t have happened!” As soon as they realized what had happened, the three moved and spoke in perfect synchronicity, pointing accusing fingers at each other and immediately shifting the blame.

“You three, sit down and behave!” Just as they were frantically blaming one another, a deep, angry voice rang out, startling all three. They quickly turned to look in the direction of the voice.

Zhe Chen, Yoona, and Sooyoung saw at once a beautiful face—albeit smeared with bits of sausage—still lingering with traces of youthful innocence and baby fat, making her look somewhat adorable. Yet the dark expression on her face ruined any sense of cuteness, casting a terrifying pressure over the trio.

“Yes, Lady Seohyun!” Yoona and Sooyoung, with practiced skill, turned and knelt facing Seohyun, heads bowed, not daring to look at her for fear they might burst out laughing and make things worse.

“Yes, Seohyun!” Knowing he’d made a mistake this time and seeing Seohyun’s face covered in sausage bits, Zhe Chen struggled to suppress his laughter, afraid he might offend her if he let it slip. He quickly copied Sooyoung and Yoona, kneeling and bowing his head in apparent repentance.

Watching the trio kneeling before Seohyun, whose face was covered in sausage, Krystal found it all rather amusing. She was about to share a joke with Yuqi beside her when she noticed Seohyun’s murderous gaze shift toward her, prompting her to cover her mouth and promise to stay silent.

Sensing the oppressive atmosphere radiating from Seohyun, the foodie trio buried their heads even lower, mimicking ostriches, silently praying that Seohyun would pick someone else to punish first.

“Zhe Chen!” As Zhe Chen was quietly praying, he heard Seohyun call his name first. His body trembled instinctively, wanting to run for it, but deep down he knew that fleeing would only make things worse.

“Sister, let me wipe your face!” He quickly suppressed his instincts, looked around, and spotted an open pack of wet wipes on the table. He grabbed them, plastered a flattering smile on his face, and handed them to Seohyun.

“You shameless, spineless traitor!” Sooyoung and Yoona cursed him silently, gnashing their teeth in anger, for he had done exactly what they had wanted to do themselves.

Both foodies glared at Zhe Chen with utter contempt, disgusted by his opportunistic behavior.

“Here, let me help you wipe your face!” Knowing he’d beaten the others to the punch, Zhe Chen cast a smug glance at the duo before continuing to smile ingratiatingly at Seohyun, hoping his gesture might earn him some leniency.

After a moment’s hesitation, Seohyun pointed to her cheek, indicating he should wipe the meat bits off her face.

“Yes, sister!” Relieved that he was temporarily safe, Zhe Chen drew a wet wipe, then thought better of it and grabbed a dry tissue as well, stepping forward to clean Seohyun’s face.

Using the skills he’d honed over time, Zhe Chen gently used the dry tissue to remove the sausage bits, ensuring he wouldn’t leave an oily residue when he followed up with the wet wipe.

While enjoying Zhe Chen’s facial cleaning service, Seohyun fixed a deathly glare on the two food lovers, her murderous aura directed squarely at them.
