Su Lan knew that wasting any more words on them would serve no purpose.

If she wanted to resolve the matter, there was only one way.

She had to take a hard line and make these people understand that she was not someone they could provoke. Only then would they obediently submit.

The others exchanged uneasy glances, uncertain what choice to make next.
