Chapter Seventy-One: Streamer, Run!

"I don't think I've seen you before. Are you a streamer who switched over from another platform?" Teacher Dai Dai asked with a smile.

Qin Nuoxin gave a shy smile and replied, "No, I'm just a small streamer who recently started to gain some attention."

"Oh, so that's how it is." Teacher Dai Dai drew out her response, as an experienced streamer, she was well aware of the rules of the streaming world.

Many guilds would select promising newcomers to nurture, buying them recommendation spots or even buying followers to boost their numbers. "Alright, but I don't have much in the way of talent, so you should go first," Qin Nuoxin replied, opening the PK bar. Teacher Dai Dai frowned slightly, confused.

"Are you sure you don't want to start?" Normally, when two streamers PK, the veteran always lets the newcomer perform first, partly as a gesture of support and partly to show good character. And unless the newcomer is foolish, they never refuse, since they have little chance of winning anyway. Performing first lets them gain a few fans, which is already quite good.

This is why newcomers like to PK with veterans; many even pay for the chance to compete with big streamers. Yet unexpectedly, Qin Nuoxin refused Dai Dai's offer, which seemed rather audacious.

"I'm sure," Qin Nuoxin nodded firmly and Dai Dai shrugged.

"Alright, since you insist, I'll go first." Without wasting any more time, she began her signature performance—dancing.

It had to be said, Dai Dai’s dance was truly captivating. Her skill was evident, far above the ordinary.

Her fans in the streaming room erupted in applause.

Qin Nuoxin couldn't help but feel a touch of envy at the scene.
