“Just as I thought, just as I thought!” Fang Zheng was delighted.

“The rules of two entirely different worlds, since they can interact, must be able to intersect. You can destroy my blocks, but there’s no rule saying I can’t turn you into blocks!”

This meant—“I might truly be able to continuously acquire material from this immortal cultivation world and, relying on creative mode, obtain it infinitely!”

“By the way…”

Fang Zheng suddenly grew curious. “If this immortal world has some kind of currency like spirit stones or spirit essences, then once I enter this city, wouldn’t I be able to buy anything I want?”

“Buy out every single product in the entire city and just toss them around for fun?”

“Or if there’s some rare material like Chaos Iron or Copper of the First Mountain—only usable by immortals—could I wholesale them freely and give every weakest Qi Refining disciple enough to build houses?”

After indulging in such wild thoughts, Fang Zheng carefully examined the new iron bucket added to his creative mode inventory. He was surprised, “The bucket’s name is actually garbled? Looks like I can rename it.”

After some thought, he decided to temporarily name it the “White Tiger and Vermilion Bird Law Bucket.”

Knock, knock, knock…

With the steady tapping, Fang Zheng filled the gaps of those golden-red substances with End Portal Frame blocks.

The dense, viscous runic chains, no matter how strong their attacks were, still could not inflict the slightest damage.

Using the End Portal Frame, Fang Zheng quickly built a small room 100 by 100 blocks in height and width, gaining enough space to move freely without getting stuck.

Unlike other blocks, the End Portal Frame is relatively flat in shape; when stacked, it doesn’t fit perfectly, leaving small gaps.

However, although these gaps exist, water and lava cannot pass through in Minecraft, and the runic chains are also unable to penetrate those seemingly wide crevices.

Fang Zheng could see through the gaps that outside the spaces filled by the End Portal Frames, the golden-red substance surged violently with runic chains growing increasingly agitated, treating the room built from the End Portal Frames as a target for attack, wildly thrashing about.

No matter how fiercely they attacked, the damage inflicted was still zero.

At the center of the room, Fang Zheng took the newly added bucket from his inventory. “If the laws of different worlds can indeed merge, then you should be able to flow endlessly like lava and water, right?”

He then placed a brand-new White Tiger and Vermilion Bird lava bucket.

Boom!

---

With a tremendous explosion, as if a supernova were detonating, from the point where the bucket was placed inside the End Portal Frame room, an enormous volume of runic chains surged out explosively.

Those unimaginably dense runic chains seemed to pour endlessly from the void, continuously filling the room.

In an instant, the infinitely dense Vermilion Bird’s divine fire and White Tiger’s slaying power nearly solidified into tangible form.

Yet, even so, the eruption from the source point did not cease, continuing to spew out overwhelmingly dense runic chains.

Watching the runic chains erupt like a fountain, Fang Zheng was somewhat surprised. “Though I transformed it into a block, except for the change in shape, the flowing substance still follows its original style and flow speed, without any limit to the range of flowing blocks?”

Within mere seconds, the entire small room was completely filled with runic chains of equal density.

When the density reached equilibrium, it was like placing a high-pressure water pipe outlet into the deep sea; internal and external pressures balanced out.

The initial White Tiger and Vermilion Bird law block finally ceased its endless gush.

“Exactly as I thought!” Fang Zheng exhaled in relief.

From what he had observed so far, he understood clearly that the runic chains attempting to attack and suppress him wouldn’t vanish into thin air.

But what if there were differences in runic density?

According to his observations, high-density runic chains, lacking a specific target, would not actively cluster to increase density in a certain area.

Instead, they would diffuse toward areas of lower density, just as water flows downhill, and higher energy levels diminish toward lower ones.

If the blocks he placed truly inherited some of Minecraft’s infinite properties, as long as the runic chain density in surrounding matter was lower than that of the block itself, the runic chains should continue to gush forth until all surrounding areas reach equilibrium.

Up to this point, Fang Zheng realized he was trapped within some kind of formation.

This formation took him as its target, transforming the most powerful slaying force into runic chains, converging extremely densely within a limited range centered on him.

If the formation sealing him was likened to a mighty nation—

Then, in a normal country, beyond the farmers, merchants, administrators, and others who maintain normal operations, when the entire nation’s power mobilizes against an enemy, at least half of the armed forces would be concentrated along various frontlines, excluding logistics and non-frontline troops.

No matter how strong the military power, aside from the frontlines in a full-scale war, the remaining vast territories would, at best, share the remaining half of the forces.

It’s inconceivable that a country pushing its frontlines relentlessly without concern for defense would send less than ten percent of its armed forces to the front.

---

So, suppose—

Suppose a god suddenly played a huge prank, duplicating the half of the military forces deployed on the frontlines exponentially—doubling, tripling, quadrupling...

While the frontline forces wildly increased, all logistics, equipment, and resources did not keep pace.

The soldiers fighting the frontlines would lack any logistical support or weapons, only facing an ever-growing population, even more exaggerated than the entire civilian population of the nation.

What would happen to that country?

Could it be...

Bang!

“The formation, huh? If these runic chains truly are components of the formation, then they should be like code in a computer program, or parts in a machine.”

Fang Zheng continued pondering.

“Program code has different functions in different areas; parts must be combined to build more complete functions. If I directly copy hundreds or thousands of incomplete codes into a program, or insert hundreds of thousands of parts into a well-functioning machine…”

“Heh!”

Fang Zheng chuckled.

“Let’s give it a try!”

He shattered the nearby End Portal Frame blocks, allowing the ultra-high-density runic chains, which had reached equilibrium and stopped flowing, to surge out again from the gaps, merging with the frenziedly attacking runic chains outside.

The runic chains, thick as lava, merged unhindered into those outside, causing the golden-red substance to emit a bright glow.

A faint cacophony began to sound from all directions.

Fang Zheng recognized the source—it was the Vermilion Bird’s cries and the White Tiger’s roars he had heard before.

However, this time the sounds varied in pitch; no longer melodious or majestic as before, they became increasingly disordered, slow but resolute, as if suffering from a signal distortion.
